Kyoto, asleep

On my recent trip to Japan, I spent a few days in Kyoto. Unlike the rest of the trip, I spent most of the time with some amazing hosts and friends. When I finally had the time to explore the city, I knew I had to ruthlessly prioritize what I'd like to see -- and this temple was a great decision. It is ~40 minutes away from the city (it's not Arashiyama :-P) and is situated in a residential neighborhood with barely any visitors around so I had the place all to myself!!
