The Big Wave

The first time I heard about Nazaré was through a photography blog, and the images I saw completely blew me away.

On my way to the Azores, after landing in Lisbon, I parted ways with my friends and took a small detour. I spent three days in Nazaré with one goal: to capture the kind of images that had inspired me in that blog. Mine may not be quite on the same level, but I’m still incredibly happy with the results.

As a bonus, my enthusiasm turned out to be infectious -- my friends ended up joining me.
